To write or not to write?

It has been a long time since I have posted anything on this blog.

I will admit it, I have gotten lazy. There is no other excuse for it. The reason I got lazy, was the feeling of despair as I failed to grow as a writer, blogger, or businessman.

I guess I feel into the same trap and vicious thought cycle most do when they venture out on their own.

Am I good enough?

Will someone really pay me to do this?

Will I make a good living?

Will the client really listen to what I have to say?

What if I don’t have any good ideas to help them?

This last one seems trivial for a copywriter, but being a copywriter who works for his-self, I’m not just a word smith, I am also an idea generator. I have to show my client that what they’re paying me for is worth it.

I have to prove to them, the ideas are going to generate the kind of response they need to improve engagement, profit, and most of all loyalty.

Engagement in this highly social world now is very important. Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, and Instagram have revolutionized the way companies are now promoting their services and products. No company should be left behind because of poor engagement.

Profit margins have to go up, in order for a company to utilize R&D, hire more employees, and create the next bigger and better product.

Loyalty is the most important aspect for a company. If they can build a brand which has the consumer coming back begging for more, then they will stay with you. And, most importantly, they will talk about you to their friends. Bringing the cycle back to engagement.
